One of the crazier Ozzy/Sabbath moments I’v had was from Tori Amos' 'From the Choirgirl Hotel' tour. In the middle of "She's Your Cocaine," she transitions into Black Sabbath's "Sweet Leaf." Anyway, listening to some #Ozzy and drinking a dark beer to the Prince of Darkness tonight. Bark at the Moon!

It’s been a terrible day, so I’m celebrating these two this holiday weekend instead. Newmar and Eartha Kitten adopted us four years ago tonight. They were left on the front porch of a house we had in rural Texas. #Cats

My Great Aunt Georgia lived in Seattle at the time of the Mt. St. Helens eruption. She sent everyone in the family little jars of ash. Been on every desk I’ve had since then wherever I’ve gone.

The first time I saw a Sargent painting in person, I was with a group of students from at new school. We took a trip to the San Antonio Museum of Art. They'd never seen me gape-jawed and quiet the way I was in front of this painting.
