With "dotnet project convert" we go from File-based app to project. But what if we start with a normal project, and then we want to convert it to a File-based app? I have created a small .NET tool for this: github.com/marcominerva.... And you can run it using dnx! #dotnet /cc @damianedwards.com

It’s the time of year where everyone debates Die Hard being a Christmas movie (it is) but so is Batman Returns, Eyes Wide Shut, Lethal Weapon, Gremlins, and Rambo First Blood. If I see a tree, lights, presents, or even a single chubby bearded guy eating a cookie, it counts.

MSBuild tip: if you're working with binlogs, set the environment variable MSBuildLogPropertyTracking=15.
It enables logging of where each property was initially assigned from during evaluation and lights up more features in the binlog viewer.

My contribution to the game difficulty debate is I made an SMB3 style platformer with a mode where dying simply pops you back up immediately on a flying cloud and with cheats beyond that
