Hey #dotnet - I'm headed to #MSBuild this year! I'll be there all week talking about AI-Assisted modernization, but I'd love to talk with you about the .NET SDK and CLI, MSBuild, or other fundamentals as well! Looking forward to seeing everybody!
Finally, we can start building and sharing on a stable foundation :)

How in the hell do you come off a result like last Tuesday and then pull this kind of shit? The resounding message of Tuesday was to STICK TO YOUR PRINCIPLES, not bow to insane demands. My entire adult life has been this asshole and those like him fumbling the bag.
Democrats have been fighting for months to address America's healthcare crisis

For the millions who will lose coverage
For people with cancer who won't get the care they need
For working families who can't afford to pay $25K more a year for healthcare

We will keep fighting

i think this is key. taking the deal would amount to taking the blame. it would turn a clear political victory into an unambiguous defeat.
If the Dems blink after all of this, for a deal that all but ensures no ACA subsidies in 2026 anyway, then what was the purpose of letting the shutdown go for 40 days in the first place?

Senator Schumer is no longer effective and should be replaced. If you can’t lead the fight to stop healthcare premiums from skyrocketing for Americans, what will you fight for?

Now that #dotnet code coverage will be coming to #visualstudio professional 2026, is there perhaps also any info on Testcase Impact Analysis ( #TIA) for #azuredevops CI/CD pipelines (as far as I can tell it was never supported for .Net Core?)

Saw @justinhawkins.ridesagain.com and The Darkness tonight at Emo's for the first time and HOLY HELL what a show! Amazing performers, brilliant crowd work, and an electric set. Gonna be smiling for a long time after that one 🤘

Hey #dotnet, would you like it if #msbuild (and dotnet build, etc) natively integrated with your CI/CD pipelines for integrated warning/error reporting and such? I've vibe-coded some stuff here that might be interesting to folks: github.com/dotnet/msbui...

One of the best things that I've done this year is get back into choral singing - it's reconnected me with a part of myself that I haven't engaged with in ~15 years! Making music with other people has always been an almost religious experience for me, and I didn't realize how much I missed it!

So apparently my client has decided that we should (1) start using Cursor, and (2) show up at the office four days a week.

After more than 6 years there, I’m thinking this might be my cue to eject.

Anyone looking for a coder for a remote gig (or hybrid in Stockholm)?

Hey so @patriksvensson.se have you seen this news about GhostTTY's new library for VT parsing/terminal state handling? mitchellh.com/writing/libg...

Could be interesting to use as a basis for Spectre or other things (I was thinking about MSBuild Terminal Logger).
