As a writer, something that fascinates me to explore. So much of my work is rooted in the brutality of isolation and what it does to people.
the fact that humans frequently view loneliness and isolation as so suffocatingly empty that they're willing to stay in situations that are objectively worse, dangerous, in order to avoid feeling that emptiness is just so damn fascinating, and a really good conflict to have in a story.

To make a broader point about "the left has no answer to young men not getting any", it strikes me as the same basic argument as "the left has no answer to small boats" or "the left has no answer to trans women dominating women's sports". Yeah, we have no answer because those problems are made up.
