Only relevant to Blender/3d art folks: I learned UV mapping with seams and whatnot, so you have one big pancake texture.

Then I see this tutorial where the person is just cube projecting this shit at random, sometimes from the same spot. I didn't know you could do that!

I have had Proton email & VPN recommended to me. I do turn off Location & App Permissions & don't allow notifications. BUT it is foolish to ignore the erosion of privacy. So I'd love to hear from people who actually have insight into improving security - before turning on my new Win 11 laptop.

One note, just to be safe: BlueSky's DMs aren't encrypted. Don't put stuff there that you wouldn't want to be made public.
