it occurs to me that the trajectory of the modern GOP is precisely the unmoderated forum trajectory. First you get the pedantic sea lions, then the trolls, all the women leave, then the people who are too fucked up to be trollable show up, and finally you're left with just nazis

imo target being pro or not pro queer was never symbolic of target loving or accepting us (target is a soulless corporate entity, it cannot love or accept), it was just a weathervane, and it's okay to be happy when the vane implies fair weather, and anxious when it doesn't
