There’s a lot of awful things in the #epsteinfiles or implied within them.

One of the things that has personally been breaking my heart over and over, is how he and his accomplices used people’s joys and passions, their interests, expertise, and talents, as avenues for exploitation and abuse. 😔

With the full cooperation & in coordination of the committee Chair, Jim Jordan, who knows something about covering up sex abuse crimes.
In four decades of hearings, I’ve never seen anything like this: Pam Bondi delivered a masterclass in contempt—dodging questions, disrespecting the committee, and embarrassing the process. Not advocacy. Not accountability. Just arrogance on full display.

It’s called patriarchy*

It’s not just rich men with private islands that get away with abuse. It’s most of them. #MeToo barely scratched the surface of the epidemic of sexual violence against women and children (see stats in comments)

(*or “male supremacy,” whatever the kids say these days 🤷‍♀️)
The Epstein files don’t expose a mystery, they expose a system: years of abuse, endless enablers, victims telling the truth, and powerful people protected by silence, settlements, and delay while justice never shows up.

It's not surprising that Lutnik was a business associate of Epstein and is all over the Epstein files.
It's not surprising that he lied about it.
It is surprising that his lies were so detailed and well thought out.
And it is surprising that he didn't realize the truth would be known.

Watching people screenshot a keyword search on the Epstein Files site and declare victory is bleak. A search result isn’t evidence, context, or proof. Read the damn documents or stop pretending you did.
People are too dumb for the Epstein Files site. I keep seeing people just sharing a screenshot of them searching a word/name and being like "SEE?!" as if that proves something. You have to actually read the files.

Briefly trying to distract myself from The Horrors, and trying to revisit some of the hobbies and or interests that I lost my connection with over the years. My hiking boots are in pretty rough shape, and I kept thinking they’re repairable, until now I’m not so sure anymore.

I don’t think we should allow the secret police to round people up and sort them by race
More than 400 people, including hundreds of citizens, were “sorted” at gun point into racial and ethnic groups by 200 ICE agents who fired flash-bang grenades into cars with people inside, pointed guns at children & demanded their zip tied parents not comfort them. apple.news/Ausdx6kWtT0e...
Idaho families sue over immigration raid that swept up hundreds, including U.S. citizens — NBC News
About 400 people, including children and U.S. citizens, were detained for four hours while they were denied food and water in the raid, according to the lawsuit.

Just take a look at this and remember, Pam Bondi's concern here was not with any of the victims of these crimes but with the nosy Democrats who actually gave a shit about them.

Trump has always been very good at getting his cronies to forget that they can go to prison.
Bondi crashes out over Epstein: "The Dow is over 50,000 dollars! I don't know why you're laughing. You're a great stock trader as I hear, Raskin. The Dow is over 50,000 right now. The S&P at almost 7,000, and the Nasdaq smashing records. That's what we should be talking about."

Pam Bondi brought a document to the Judiciary Committee today that had my search history of the Epstein files on it.

The DOJ is spying on members of Congress. It’s a disgrace and I won’t stand for it.

When you're just going for low hanging fruit, you're failing to express how horrifying these people are.

Dig deep. Be creative. I believe in you.

A Reuters photographer captured this image of a page from Pam Bondi's "burn book," which she used to counter any questions from Democratic lawmakers during an unhinged hearing today.

It looks like the DOJ monitored members of Congress’s searches of the unredacted Epstein files.

Just wow.

Earlier last(?) week, several of the documents I read were transcripts from victim and witness testimony, also taken under oath.

I am thinking of those transcripts and those people, and the questions from attorneys that they had to endure… and then looking at Pam’s performance today… 😒

If an increasing unpopular leader, known for shaping reality w/ lies, wanted to subvert democracy, would they: A) complain that the polls are “fake news”, B) threaten polling organizations into silence, C) sow distrust in election results, or D) find ways to disenfranchise voters of the other party?
Gallup announces, after 88 years, it will no longer track public approval of presidents. Trump's second-term approval rating fell to 36% in December, among the lowest ever recorded by the company. The president repeatedly has threatened to sue media and polling firms that portray him negatively.

Every sane person in the world: “These victims deserve justice for what they endured at the hands of Epstein and other dangerous people!”

AG Pam Bondi: “THE DOW IS OVER 50,000 RIGHT NOW!”

This is absolutely terrifying.

I have a whole lot more questions I don’t want to ask after reading document EFTA01615544 😬

(The name mentioned at the start would be the former Director of Oval Office Operations at the White House before being fired August 29, 2019).

Sometimes its less about how many times a person emailed Epstein, and instead its more illuminating to find out how many times their assistant emailed J€’s schedulers. 🤔 👀

Call your congresspersons & ask them if they have signed up for a time to view the un-redacted J€ files.

Ask them for a response if they don’t know (the aide picking up my call wasn’t sure).

The congresspeople who go check them out seem to take it very seriously. 👀

Watching the Bondi hearing and seeing people light up the social medias in protestation of her complicity has made me feel way less alone.

Thank to the people who are being vocal about this.

I appreciate you 💖🫂🫶
