Packers HC Matt LaFleur on if he's coaching for his job:
"I'll leave that for everyone else to decide. I'll just focus on the day-to-day. I feel like you're always coaching for everything in this league. It's just my mindset. That's always been that way."

The other problem with this methodical “15 plays and lots of clock control” approach is you’re putting a lot of moving pieces in place and needing them to work. Having an offense that can get the same yardage in 8 plays by passing is 7 less opportunities for a penalty or a fumble or whatever.

You just can’t have a successful offense when you’re absolutely relying on converting every 3rd and 3 because you blew one of your two early downs on a 2 yard run every chance you got.

Some org of states should scoop up all these army and legal people who resigned rather than collaborate. Form a shadow government ready to resume operations once/if we get power back from the regime.

Since the Democrats worked extra hard to hide who actually supported this, I think the No Kings/Resistance position should be to primary every Democrat unless they publicly call for Schumer's ouster this week
Either they go into total rebellion mode, which they won't, or the people will

Every single Democratic senator that votes to cave on this should be immediately ejected from the party, and the national party should immediately start running primary candidates in their districts.

Schumers actions make a lot more sense when you consider how right wing AIPAC is now. He’s not a “democratic” senator in the slightest, and he knows his time is ending in 2028.

I think democrats should push for a thorough review of all Elon Musk govt contracts as part of their 2026-8 portfolio. Why are taxpayers financing the work of a racist near-trillionaire? Leaving that unexamined was one of the biggest failures of the last Dem majority.

we can chalk it up to youth and inexperience but the biggest mistake the mamdani campaign made was winning by 8.8% and not 1.5%, which is the margin needed for the media to say it’s a total mandate
