Could Seattle incentivize bike parking facilities in exchange for parking spots for new permitted buildings?

Sitting on a bus in car gridlock right now realizing my one wish would be to turn all the vehicles into ebikes so everyone could experience getting home faster. In the Puget Sound I bet that be true during rush hour for most locations up to 25 miles away.

In Copenhagen, the pedestrian, cycling, and driving networks are so well integrated. It's a perfect system, bikes 3" up from cars, peds 3" up from bikes. Signals for everyone, which everyone behaves because the system works so well for everyone. An efficient, intelligent, and sociable dance. A joy.

Just biked westbound 520 home from Redmond and passed around two thousand cars in gridlock on the bridge. Get on transit. Get on bikes. Walk. Whatever. Just get outta your cars.

The low % of people biking in the US isn’t due to bikes requiring “hardcore” people to ride them for transportation… it’s due to the US’s ongoing choice to force car dependency on us via sprawl & unsafe streets.
