I once called Zahawi a child's drawing of pure greed, superimposed onto a competitively evil gonad, which is funny, but there is something more serious to consider.

Reform are turning into Re-Formed.

You can't be "the different party" if you're made of all the same idiots.
NEW: Former Tory Chancellor Nadhim Zahawi defects to Reform.

Most senior member of the last Conservative govt yet to join the party.

Nadim Zahawi arrived in the UK from Iraq as a child refugee. His family claimed asylum once they were here. Today he has joined Reform who will stop all in country asylum applications. Under his new party, his own family fleeing persecution would be immediately deported.

Iโ€™m kind of over the whole โ€œAmerica is bad, at least my country is goodโ€ as if the rise of a xenophobic right wing isnโ€™t a broadly Western problem and every country tut-tutting about the USโ€™s fall doesnโ€™t have a failing neoliberal order constantly in tug-of-war with The Racism Party

When Renee Good said "I'm not mad at you" what the ICE goon heard was "I'm not scared of you."

That's what enraged him. The populace wasn't fully terrorized and cowed into submission yet, so he acted to make that happen.

If a Pakistani Muslim owned X, distributed indecent images of girls on a platform where govt do their PR, where some receive payments for posts, they would have distanced themselves by now. X would be shutdown and Braverman and Farage would be calling for a ban and investigation into Pakistani men.

It's not exaggerating to say that one of the most important things to do to START fixing US law enforcement is to not allow masks and above all STOP LETTING THEM DRESS LIKE SPECIAL FORCES.

I think the militarization of police and the attitudes toward civilians it breeds are fundamental.

The invasion of MN is, I strongly believe, an attempt to create cause to invoke Insurrection Act.

It is a pivotal moment to attempt to discredit the goons or face civil war.

Greg Bovino's job, from day one, has been to create excuses to invade military.

ICE has only existed since 2003. A Bush-era creation, it is a militarized federal secret police that has been imbued with the Supreme Court with the unconstitutional power to ignore the fourth amendment.

Abolishing it and salting the earth where it grew is the moderate stance.
