My small country, Estonia, population 1.3 million sent 2003-2014 over 2500 soldiers. 9 were killed in the line of duty. 109 wounded, half of them so seriously they could no longer lead a normal life.
In Iraq 2003-2009 we had more than 440 soldiers. 2 were killed. 18 seriously wounded.

While I loath that we are at the point in the slide to authoritarian rule where judges are being arrested for- checks notes- advising someone of their constitutional rights, I am proud as a Wisconsinite that we have been in the news as a hotbed of, checks again, common sense democratic decency. Amen
Donald Trump is waging an all-out assault on our democracy and rule of law. After openly defying a Supreme Court order, calling for judges to be impeached, and bullying and belittling judges when he doesn’t like their decisions, today the FBI took the extreme and dangerous step arresting a judge.
