I agree with you that there is no guarantee but it will greatly improve your chances. I’m saying this as a retired California LEO with almost 30 years experience. Sadly, in all these incidents I’m seeing citizens having to try to deescalate what the Feds have greatly escalated.

This is wild. They’ve issued GoPros who’s recordings can be deleted, instead of police body cams that send footage to a server.
That taxi driver hero from yesterday posted clips from his exchange with CBP agents.
He calls them out for using GoPros instead of police cams, because they’re able to delete any footage.
The officer doesn’t deny it, just asks how he knew that.

It should be bigger news that masked agents were filmed hours ago removing potentially inculpatory evidence from the ICE shooter's house, clearly lacking evidence tags or chain of custody stickers.
