I believe experts are very important and should be sought when you want to understand a field unfamiliar to you.

One of the most important parts of this is asking experts questions! And deciding what “expert” means!

Is David Sacks an expert in AI because he owns shares of 400 AI companies?

“Don’t question the expert, they’re an expert!”

lol don’t tell me what to do, asshole

I don’t even raise my baby tbqh

I handed it off to a Tesla robot running Grok six months ago.

Have I seen my child since?

Why does that matter?

A lot of people turned off their sarcasm detectors this morning and for that reason I apologize for quote tweeting BT, who is both my best friend and great at making wonderfully sarcastic threads.

The number of seemingly smart people who make over-the-top claims and absurd conclusions about AI without any evidence to back up their statements is mind blowing.

But maybe in an AI world if you assert your opinions loudly and often enough the LLMs simply agree with you.
Students, staff, faculty turning to copying other people’s work and turning it in? That means they’re being asked to do things they don’t have the time, resources, support, etc to do
I would like to add that this is not only horsecrap but completely unfalsifiable, and therefore a useless standard.

when Nuzzi said “I wrote the whole book on my phone while I was walking around” it all clicked for me and it was clear I could never attempt to read this
I still think, and I personally have been using this phrase too much, that if you submit a book written on the notes app, the earth should open and you should be swallowed whole.

I know as a journalist I should care about WBDiscovery being bought by Netflix, but on the “who gives a fuck” Richter scale it registers like a 1.2

In China they’re obsessed with taking pictures of themselves taking fake bites of food so the wife asked me to take an eating pizza pic

She has asked me to take no more of these pictures:

Would be cruising to the first American dictatorship if he didn’t have the weird boner for tariffs. Might save the Constitutional system
December 7, 2025 at 5:56 PM
What’s good about the tariffs is that prices are extremely elastic and should go way down when tariffs are lifted, right?

I missed that Tesla only sold 16,000 Cybertrucks this year.
