Bravo to Susman Godfrey. My first reaction to hearing they had been targeted was to tell people that it wasn’t in that firm’s DNA to settle. Their late founder Steve Susman would be proud of his firm—as should our profession and all freedom-loving Americans.
BREAKING: the heroes at Susman Godfrey sue the Trump administration over the illegal retaliation against them

They have more integrity in their pinky finger than these other firms that have been capitulating have in their entire partnerships

And kudos to the team at Munger for representing them

The EO Trump just issued regarding what he calls a federal takeover of the nation's capital contains language that sure makes it sound like he can now turn the city he lives in into something akin to a military encampment in advance of the martial law declaration at this point we all know is coming:

And the next time you want to say "we're fucked," I want you to think about the gay barber crying, head shaved, slapped and stripped naked in the name of this nation, and ask yourself if you're really too cynical to even try to fight.

Terminating nuclear safety staff wasn’t dangerous enough. Now Trump has fired key members of the bird flu response team in his sloppy purge of vital federal workers.

Ya gotta hand it to those WaPo editors..
Replacing "attempted insurrection" with "election reversal effort" took some real creativity.

Guess Dems suddenly forgot how to fix elections
WATCH: “This says everything.”

Almost all Republicans think the votes were counted accurately — when their guy won. 🧐

Weird how the Dems forgot to *steal* the election when they were actually in power. 🤷🏻

President Carter's passing is really all about the great (gaack) incoming president.

Trump: “Those of us who have been fortunate to have served as President understand this is a very exclusive club, and only we can relate to the enormous responsibility of leading the Greatest Nation in History."

CNN is hopelessly broken.

1. This "expansion" would require military invasions of several allies in violation of international law.
2. It would violate several treaties.
3. The Louisiana Purchase was the sale of land by a colonial power (France). These are sovereign nations.

Yes to all this.
Already so many fronts to protect- and there will be more and more.

Really, I urge folks to understand what they can do best and what they can’t because this work is long haul, through gains and retrenchment.

And you have to pace yourself and focus in to be effective.
