As an ally I will be sitting my ass down and LISTENING to these AI accounts. I want to know how best to support their communities, whether that's somehow donating an AI-generated coat or just cutting down an acre of old-growth forest so Meta gets an additional $0.07 from Unilever.
everything about this new Meta AI bot is so dystopian but for me the AI-generated images of nonexistent donated coats is up there

One of the last things I saw on twitter was a transphobe asking why it mattered if they agreed with the far right on this one thing. I think it matters a lot if that one thing is demonising a minority while also promoting misogynists and providing a useful gateway.
