:whispers: The reason there has been an uptick in people in sports getting caught in gambling scandals is because sports betting IS legal. If these bets were happening offshore, they are never reporting it to authorities. I know that’s a hot take on this site but it’s true.

UPDATE: The Senate votes 53-47 to shoot down the Baldwin amendment to extend ACA funds for 1 year. A party-line vote with every Republican rejecting it.
An important vote in this series: Tammy Baldwin’s proposal to extend ACA expiring funds for 1 year. It’s structured as a motion to table (i.e. scrap it from the amendment tree). But it’ll show the appetite (or lack thereof) in the Senate to address this issue.

After yesterday’s surrender, we’re launching the largest Democratic primary program that we’ve ever run.

We will not back any Senate primary candidate unless they call for Schumer to step down as Minority Leader.

If you’re as pissed as we are, join this campaign to rebuild the Democratic Party. 👇
Democratic leaders have failed us again. It's time to get new leaders.
After yet another capitulation by Chuck Schumer and Senate Democrats, it's clear we need new leadership capable of mounting a serious opposition to Trump's authoritarian regime. We're launching our la...

This sounds like the start of a conversation to put Paw Paw in an assisted living center.

Right, the answer isn't to abandon the party to these weasels.

The answer is to flood the party with people who will take it over and transform it.
Hey, a lot of people are talking about changing affiliation from Democratic to Independent.

Let me tell you why you shouldn’t do that in Colorado.

One of the main ways to get a primary challenge candidate on a ballot is to caucus for your party. You need to be registered as a Dem to caucus.

You don't hate the NY Times enough. You'd think them being a large part of getting Trump elected in 2016 would be enough for anyone that leans left to never take them seriously again and they have gotten even worse. What an insane question. Just truly fucking broken. They are trying to destroy her.

This feels incredibly optimistic because when you get a week straight of people yelling at Dems, people will begin to shift blame no matter the vote and the odds of them getting a vote at all are low.
Trump and Republicans raised ACA health care premiums. They were unwilling to compromise despite a historically long shutdown and dismal public approval. Holding a vote after premiums go up, and enforcing the vote with another shutdown threat can force Republicans to own the issue

Trump has threatened to bomb or invade 7 countries with a shot to play in the 2026 World Cup. He *has* bombed one (Iran) and said he'd deny them visas. He's preparing for war with another (Venezuela). He has summarily executed citizens from at least 3. He has imposed tariffs on nearly all of them.

If Indivisible won’t build this, someone else should. Make it easy for people to flood their senators demanding Schumer gone.
Make a tool on your website that lets people put in their name/address where people can sign up for a pledge that they will not volunteer, give money to or vote for Dems until Schumer is gone and have that pledge go directly to their senators.
November 10, 2025 at 1:57 PM
Going on Fox and Friends really explains it all you absolute fucking ghoul.
Shaheen on Fox & Friends: "I believe there are number of Republicans who are gonna join us in trying to address healthcare costs ... we are gonna be able to continue to right about healthcare because we're gonna have a vote in December."
November 10, 2025 at 1:55 PM
You need to flex your power here. Have someone make you guys a tool where people fill out their name/address and it’s a pledge that until Schumer is gone, no volunteering, no money, even no votes and it goes directly to the email of their senator. There has to be a price here.
In March, after Schumer last surrendered, we called an emergency meeting of Indivisible leaders. 92% told us to call on him to step down from leadership (which we did).

In a poll over this weekend, 98.67% said we should keep up the fight.

Rank & file Dems are going to be PISSED!
Either way, so many Dems... the bulk of the Senate caucus, House leadership, governors, etc.,... all quickly throwing down the gauntlet with such open unrestrained attacks on any Dems who cave is new. It wasn't like that in March, not nearly as loud and widespread and immediate, much more base-only.

Do you support a change in Senate leadership after this surrender?

Not picking on Booker - we should ask this of literally all the no votes.
As I've always said, I will not support a government funding bill that continues to raise our costs, jeopardizes our health care, and hurts the people of my state.
