Wild. They are figuring out how to store electricity in ... concrete.
Concrete “battery” developed at MIT now packs 10 times the power
New concrete and carbon black supercapacitors with optimized electrolytes have 10 times the energy storage of previous designs and can be incorporated into a wide range of architectural forms.

Holy shit. This company claims it has developed an air-source heat pump with a COP of *7* (3-5 is considered good). For you non-nerds, that basically means it produces 7 units of heat for every unit of electricity it consumes. How are they doing it? You're not gonna like this answer, but: it's AI.

In the United States, we are witnessing:

☑️ Sanctions against ICC judges and prosecutors
☑️ Attacks on academic institutions
☑️ Targeting of philanthropic human rights organizations

These attacks mirror the signs of repression we have documented in other countries.

Its terms go beyond what Trump demands in similar compacts to other universities.

Please understand that the Trump regime is dehumanizing Democrats the same way the Nazis dehumanized Jews. Trump is laying the groundwork to arrest, imprison and even kill us. History is warning us that is where we are heading.

Open enrollment for ACA plans began yesterday in Idaho.

One couple got notice that their monthly premium next year would jump from $51 to $2,232 as subsidies expire.

25,000 Idahoans are expected to be priced out of coverage.

This is what's at stake in Trump's shutdown.

Swearing in isn’t some ceremony. You aren’t a member of Congress until it happens. He knows that.

No phones, no staff, nothing.

I had to escort her into the Capitol on Wed bc Capitol police must treat her as a public visitor until she’s sworn in. And solo visitors aren’t allowed during shutdown!

Trump has frozen or canceled $28B in funding for infrastructure projects in Democratic congressional districts.

Meanwhile, representatives of those districts are fighting to extend ACA subsidies — more than half of which go to people in GOP-held districts.

Remember this.

The mainstream media loves making it seam like dysfunction in Washington is coming from both parties.

Hello?

Much of the GOP no longer accepts the rule of law, or the norms of democracy, or the legitimacy of the opposing party.

Enough of the false equivalence.

They should feel bad.

Understand this properly. The tax cut the millionaire is getting is basically immaterial, or at least marginally insignificant to the millionaire… but it’s devastating to the four people losing health care
Remember that this is what the Trump-Republican big, ugly bill was all about. It's Robin Hood in reverse.

Why would any Democrat vote for a continuing resolution that greenlights this regime's cruelty?

But consider this...

Now what about the $20 billion taxpayers are giving to Argentina?
