How nice that today the current occupant of the White House got his very own participation prize. All of the pathetic sycophantic children in the White House must be so proud of daddy.

Every single congressional Democrat needs to be out there, right now, insisting that Pete Hegseth resign right now and announcing that he will be held accountable for committing war crimes.

If you do not demand accountability here and now, they will only become more emboldened.
Exclusive: Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth gave an order to “kill everybody” in the first strike on suspected drug boats in the Caribbean. After two men survived, the mission commander ordered a second strike to comply with Hegseth’s instructions, according to two sources.

I just don’t see how we can pretend even for a moment that anything involving our federal government is remotely normal when the president is covering up his involvement in a child sex trafficking ring. Like, what are we doing here

Brett Meiselas: If the Epstein files had all this evidence that showed Trump actually was not involved and it actually incriminated all these Democrats, Trump would be the first to release them.

But there is a reason that they are keeping all of this information hidden from the American public.

Remember: The richest 1% evade over $160 billion in taxes every year.

That amount would fund SNAP for a year with money to spare.

Ask yourself who the real freeloaders are.

it's time for journos to start asking Johnson meta questions

"Speaker, on 5 occasions last week you said 'I haven't seen it' when asked about news events w/big implications for public policy. Do you ever read the news, and do you agree it's problematic for the Speaker to be so woefully uninformed?"

By the way, both women who ran for president were right. They predicted this moment would happen. Says something very disturbing about our country that many still think they’re unrealistic or dramatic, when they were and are, in fact, correct.

Pete Hegseth should resign.

Mike Waltz should resign.

I expected the downfall of American democracy to be devastating and infuriating.

I underestimated the extent to which it would be dumb and embarrassing.

Democrats have no power to shut down the govt. Even when Republicans control the Presidency, House, Senate and every legislative committee, they still try to blame Democrats for their failures. Pass your budget! (Oh sorry, you can’t figure out how to do that). Pass your CR then!

Aside from the obvious direct harm, what's so irritating is that a handful of spoiled ignorant assholes are breaking things that we all built together. They weren't content to own almost everything, they had to wreck what little they didn't own. It's vandalism on a mass scale and has to be punished

I really don’t appreciate these shenanigans.
How many times is Trump going to announce a tariff, tank that industry’s stocks, then change his mind the next day?

Just wondering how bad US credibility on trade agreements is going to be destroyed along with consumer confidence while Trump plays his games.
