I always find it funny when people say "ACAB except Kim Kitsuragi" like he doesn't reach for his gun in every situation in which he's even slightly afraid. He even does it when you interact with the polar bear refrigerator for the first time. Real itchy-trigger-finger kinda cop.

I'm fascinated by how, if you leave furries to their own devices, you will eventually end up with animals with no relation to their IRL counterparts. Like a game of telephone but with 20 years of art. Why do rabbit furries have paw pads? Why do shark furries have pointy ears? Not even god knows.

In a strange position where I think there are massive, massive social harms to the proliferation of AI (misinfo, deepfakes, predatory 'companions', surveillance, labour rights) but also feel the mainstream arguments against it range from unconvincing (water) to actively harmful (copyright; "soul")

They really need to take the word "terrorism" away from racing game fans. You really don't need to equate cartoonish video-game vehicular-violence with such a loaded political term, especially not to jerk off about how the older games are better than the new ones.

I'm still mad at the Pluto defenders who go on and on about how the scientists are wrong and Pluto should be a planet, like their arguments rejecting scientific consensus aren't just one step removed from an anti-vaxxer. Like they even gave Pluto it's own "dwarf planet" category, why are you so mad?

I don't understand the Minecraft subreddit, I just want to see cool builds and stuff, but every post there is about people losing their hardcore world or their pets dying or their base burning down or whatever. It's a tar pit of a place and I don't get what people are getting out of it.

Did I miss the point of Super Size Me when I saw it in high school like 7 years ago? I thought the message wasn't that eating 4000 calories of McDonalds is bad for you, but that there are people out there who actually eat 4000 calories of McDonalds per day. But nobody else sees it that way?
