This wonderful girl is Flossie (Sunday name = Florence). She died by suicide in April last year, aged just 13. Very out of the blue. Completely devastating. Looking to connect with others in #grief #childloss #bereavement communities on here as I move from the bad place ❤️‍🩹

After hearing 50,000 times that we should put the available cats on the website, we’ve made a page! Hooray! However, it is still just me doing most of the work in the shelter. So there’…

Big day today. I carried the Baton of Hope in memory of my beautiful daughter, lost to suicide at just 13. This was for you Flossie, and the other 200 school-age children we lose to #suicide every year 💔

I miss you baby 💛 #childloss #BatonofHope

My beautiful girl. Tomorrow you should be starting Year 11. But you never finished Year 8 💔 How intensely I wish you were here, ticking off these huge milestones like your peers. I miss you Floss 💛 #childloss #backtoschool #BoHTour2025 #suicideawareness

The Labour response to Farage policy of leaving the Refugee & Humam Rights Convention should not be “he won’t deliver”.

It should be “this is not morally right” (not “British values” even).

Voters want to see authentic consistent leadership. Not debate the workability of cruelty.

Danish activists have been painting their flag on roundabouts. Either that or British 'patriots' are a bunch of thick twats, which I find hard to believe.

Anyone else get a reading hangover when they finish a great book? Like, takes you a few days to feel emotionally ready to move on with new characters? Read This Love by Lotte Jeffs and it was so good I’m sad it’s finished #booksky

It’d be good for Max’s library @jontr.bsky.social #lgbtq+literature

Thanks for the reminder @janemunday.bsky.social. Every summer, I repost this article DROWNING DOES NOT LOOK LIKE DROWNING. To date, I know of FOUR kids who were saved after someone who'd clicked on the link learnt how to spot actual drowning. Take time to read and pass on.

Tomorrow would be my birthday if I celebrated. Since my 13 year old daughter died, it feels wrong to mark turning a year older when she can’t 💔

It’s another shitty milestone to endure but there are some who expect me to behave like “old me” on this day, making it feel especially crap #childloss
