The New York Times is easily manipulated by a political crackpot who offers them an "inside story" that's "remarkably candid." There's a bizarre mentality in journalism: "If they agree to an interview with me, that shows good judgment!"

Speaking as someone who just wrote a book on the Manhattan Project, I can assure you that refugee immigrants were the *entire* reason the US mastered the atom first. The most chilling part of writing my book was reading about them fleeing fascism … abroad. www.doomsdayscenario.co/p/fleeing-on...

Poverty is a policy choice. Concentrated wealth is a policy choice. Inequality is a policy choice. None of it is natural or inevitable. Remember: We have the power to build a system that serves the many, not the powerful few.

It’s truly amazing how Zelensky is able to see up close and personal what Putin is doing to his country and its people day after day with barbarity and cruelty, then stand next to Trump without losing it while he makes asinine statements expressing sympathy for the mass murderer.

Trump is always “making progress” despite the fact that Putin never agrees to compromise on any of the maximalist demands he has had for three years. What are we making progress on? Getting Ukraine to make more concessions while Putin laughs? That is progress?

Worth remembering that safety for these people means “won’t turn into Skynet” and other cult nonsense. To them the critical question is whether the imminent robot god will be benevolent or not, not what the limitations and use cases and real world immediate risks of this technology.
In September 2023, Lilian Weng, then Head of "Safety" at OpenAI, used her public Twitter account to announce how ChatGPT could be used as a therapist, and encouraged users to also use it as such.

Chump is the only one who does because appeasement is his purpose and being Putin’s puppet has always been the plan.
Trump sympathizes with how stressful it would be for Putin to have to stop killing people for a while because of how inconvenient it would be for him to resume it. This whole thing is a farce. A charade. Putin is playing Trump like the useful idiot that he is.

Miller, a descendant of Russia Jews chased out by a pogrom, continues to support appeasement of the same tsarists who chased his family away. I would say shame but he has none.
Once again raising the question -- why is the president's son-in-law at this official event?

Before every meeting or even phone call with Zelinskyy, Trump first calls Putin. That should tell you something.

It is a strictly one-way street since he never calls Zelinskyy, EU leaders, or anyone else before talking with Putin.

Clearly, Putin's approval matters to him.

As long as Trump plays this game along with Putin he can claim he is withholding arm from Ukraine to stay impartial and negotiate peace effectively taking the US out of the game.
If Putin wants peace, he can march his troops out of Ukraine and back to Russia. Until then, we stand with Ukraine—against invasion, against tyranny, and in defense of sovereignty and democracy. 🇺🇦

This is all about saving Putin’s puckered ass and prevent the societal collapse coming in Mother Russia when the serfs realize their corrupt kleptocracy lost another war at an enormous human cost.
Worth noting again and again that a big reason why Trump and Putin are pushing so damn hard for a "peace" plan is that Russia is hurting badly because of Putin's fuckup war
