Keyhole State Park has a marina, 10 campgrounds and more than 300 campsites. What it doesn’t have is a visitor center featuring interpretive exhibits, information desks or sizable community space.

Lawmakers voted Thursday to exempt additional University of Wyoming programs from a proposed $40 million reduction to the school's block grant.

The proposed exemptions include an outdoor recreation and tourism institute, a high-bay laboratory and oil and gas research.

Wyoming native Breezy Johnson won the gold medal in the Women’s downhill at the Winter Olympic Games in Cortina, Italy, today. Johnson clocked 1:36.10 to beat Germany’s Emma Aicher by 0.04 seconds.

Johnson, 30, skied the course in 1:36.10 to beat Germany’s Emma Aicher by 0.04 seconds. A field of 36 racers tackled the 1.6-mile course, which drops 2,500 feet.
