The only thing we HAVE to be doing right now is show our trans, unhoused, and other at risk neighbors that we won't accept someone who puts them in danger unless we're forced post-primary. A Newsom candidacy is a COMPLETELY AVOIDABLE OUTCOME.

I wish the new Quantum Leap hadn’t been cancelled. It was exactly what we’ve been missing - a scifi series made on a relatively low budget that produced 20 episodes a year that told low stakes adventures & socially conscious stories. Hell, they even did a “trans woman should be in sports” episode!

The DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION is a legitimate agency but an executive order was signed to dismantle it. ICE is a knee-jerk reaction to 9/11 and at the time *Republicans* thought it was a bad idea. It's barely 23 years old. If it was a person, their mom would still be doing their laundry.

My partners brother has drank the cool aid on GenAI. All he would do was repeat Sam Altman talking points. It was pathetic
I really need people who haven't actually studied data science or machine learning to stop making assumptions about the (still very limited) efficacy about AI based on what rich people say and do.
The hype IS bogus. The technology is not that sophisticated outside of the medical field.
