i have been reading Tom Ricks’ “Fighting the Good War” which is a military analysis of the civil rights movement, and one thing that comes abundantly across is that movement leaders and ordinary people made it a practice to refuse to fall into despair and cynicism.

yeah I wasn't sure where that would be located, thanks for clearing it up! There's basically no value in this year's event for me outside of watching the One Piece show so I'm probably gonna skip it. (1/2)

I don't have the most hope for Star Trek, at least as it appeared last year, mainly because preserving the set pieces used in Picard might get more difficult with each passing year. I could see them rolling with Starfleet Academy for the theme if they choose to do that.

Star Trek and Back to the Future are still unconfirmed, but I feel like BTTF is a no-brainer, as it was the most popular highlight of last year's event and the Hill Valley set offered both longevity and immersion.
Wicked photo ops would be fun, but it'd be cool to see more for that IP too.
