The violent occupation of Minneapolis started with a vlog. I've wanted to find a framework to describe Nick Shirley & others like him: "Influencer" is too quaint. "Journalist" is obviously wrong.

For the most part, these macabre stories are enjoyable. However, Smith's prose can sometimes get tedious and the stories reptitive. The Dark Eidolon is unmatched though.

i think this attitude — that all opposition is illegitimate and nothing we do can be questioned— is probably pervasive in the white house and helps explain why they keep making terrible political choices

Today, Leader Schumer rolled out a new housing agenda, Opportunity Starts at Home – Democrats’ new vision to tackle the housing crisis and lower housing costs for every single American. For millions of Americans, owning a home is the most important part of the American dream, it builds equity and a future for Americans. But the median price of a home is up 55% since Covid, and rent is up by one-third. The average American homebuyer is now 40 years old, a record high.
