Sending Christopher Anderson as the photographer was definitely not a random choice. Sitting in front of Christopher Anderson not knowing what was going to happen was probably less informed of a choice

To be honest the fact that in 2025 people still assume their data won't be leaked is what surprises me the most. Does this fall under the umbrella of revenge porn? And since a lot of these images are taken from yearbooks, child pornography? They laws are there, will they be applied?
This is a nuts story. An AI chatbot and image platform left millions of images exposed. They show what people are actually using the AI for: taking random women's yearbook, graduation, and social media photos and making super realistic hardcore porn with them

This is truly the end of an era. Some of the best political commentary I've seen in the last few years came from TeenVogue and it's heartbreaking to see this happen

Alice Wong taught us that disabled people don’t just leave memories behind—they leave infrastructure. Lineages of care. Methods of collectivity, survival. She named the connective tissue that holds our communities together, even across death, even across the losses that come too fast and too often.

I was gonna say I am switching to pigeons to avoid tracking but then I remembered that "All of the birds died in 1986 due to Reagan killing them, and replacing them with spies that are now watching us. The birds work for the Bourgeoisie"

YES. This book changed my brain chemistry at 13 and reading it again as an adult I could see how much it influenced how I see the world in the long run, especially when it comes to choices and responsibilities
If you want to buy a wizard book, may I suggest "A Wizard of Earthsea" by Ursula K. Le Guin?
It is genuinely good, and perfectly suited for both teens (I read it the first time when I was 13) and adults. As a bonus, the author was not a horrible person.
If you're still buying wizard book shit, you are no friend to the trans community. Here's the wizard book bigot inciting harassment against innocent people to her 14 million followers on the nazi app.

And no, they can't Always Tell.

I got to show one of my students from the library classes what happens when you finally take the flash off camera and I could just see their brain explode in real time. I will never tire of seeing this happen. @davidhobby.bsky.social your legacy lives on

I think Republicans really need to understand that if people are denied relief through the legal system, they will find other ways to seek justice, and historically those ways end up being quite violent
The Senate bill aims to effectively end all civil rights lawsuits against the federal government except by entities rich enough to potentially pay million/billions in fees.

I am not making this up.

Just to recap, Trump has taken the extraordinary step of federalizing 2000 member of the California National Guard — over the objections of the state’s governor — in response to a protest that currently involves A FEW DOZEN PEOPLE AT A HOME DEPOT

Yeah. So what? Harden the efff up.

Being on the receiving end of epithets and being insulted to your face is not a riot.

Authoritarians may think it so, but it is not in fact a riot.

RFK Jr talking about the need for doctors to know how to treat measles for those who are unvaccinated.

“Only very sick kids should die from measles.”

No. They shouldn’t. That was the point of the vaccine. We eradicated the virus so children didn’t die.

Sick & disabled kids are not expendable!

ICE threatening charges against people for asking supposed officers to show their badges is weakness. Not succeeding where they hoped to, left relying on threats that likely won’t go anywhere in court (harassment isn’t nothing, but it’s limited).

It’s a sign to resist their abuses more, not less.
