this helps manufacture consent that people trying to not get a neurotropic disease that can cause lifelong disability without a cure are the crazy ones. this framing is explicitly condescending, misleading, and does real harm.

Since the start of Trump’s second term, the number of children in ICE detention has increased sixfold.

In their letters, kids held at the Dilley center told us about missing their friends, being unable to go to school and feeling trapped.

the thing i keep telling people is that in the 8 hours post-press conference, ICE abducted at LEAST three people (and that’s only that i know of!) and attempted many more! news outlets calling it finished is SO deeply deeply irresponsible and just puts our neighbors in even more danger

ICE kidnapped a neighbor in Phillips today along with others in MN. They are still the same rogue, abhorrent, & illegitimate organization meant to terrorize & separate families.

As I said yesterday, I am still asking the community to remain cautious & vigilant. We still need help.

I’ll believe it when I see it. Careful not to advance their propaganda before it’s actually fact-based. What I’m hearing is that Minneapolis is still a hot spot and dangerous for the citizens going about their daily lives.

Because nothing has changed in Minneapolis. ICE hasn't even withdrawn.
