Mike Johnson’s claim that Trump was an FBI informant against Epstein is ludicrous — and it’s a reminder that he’s in way over his head.
For the speaker to then walk it back and have the episode all blow over shows again how desperately reporters need Johnson’s aides as sources.

"Liberate the city"

What does that mean?

The Trump Administration should be asked by every reporter.
Kristi Noem: "We are not going away. We are staying here to liberate the city from the socialists and the burdensome leadership that this governor and that this mayor have placed on this country and what they have tried to insert into the city."

Sen. Alex Padilla is then forcibly removed!

NEW damning details on Pete Hegseth:

Minutes before U.S. jets hit Yemen, Gen. Kurilla sent strike intel through a secure gov system. Hegseth turned around and dropped it in at least two Signal chats—on his personal phone.

Jet timing. Target locations. And he still has the job.

If the big Wall Street firms had one nut between them, they would issue a prompt joint statement affirming the Fed’s independence.
Alas, they’re cowards.

If you're a reporter in a White House press briefing as the spokesperson for the government asserts flatly that Kilmar Abrego Garcia is a member of the MS-13 gang who's guilty of human trafficking and you sit there silently without shouting out "PROVE IT!" I'd like to invite you to go fuck yourself.

The administration has admitted that Kilmar Abrego Garcia was wrongly deported. They fired a lawyer for telling the truth (even tho it was her responsibility as an officer of the court). The govt should bring him back (and it could) but it won't. And Republicans are SILENT. Never forget this moment.

What do these corporations have in common?

Netflix
Ford
Tesla
T-Mobile
Duke Energy
DISH Network
Metlife
Dominion Energy
United States Steel

In recent years, they all paid their execs more than they paid in taxes.

This is what a corporate-rigged system looks like.

To everyone replying “they voted for it” when we talk about immigrant rights:

The Hispanic community is NOT a monolith and 53% voted for Harris.

We organized, knocked on doors, and led weekly caravans for Harris-Walz.

Blanket statements erase the work of a community that showed up for democracy.

This is straight-up authoritarian rule, seeking to punish one's perceived enemies for doing nothing more than telling the truth. These men are patriots and heroic. This isn't supposed to happen in a democracy.

F’ing idiots.
This is big: House Republicans tucked language into the budget res “rule” that bans the House from voting to terminate Trump’s emergency declaration used to impose tariffs. TL;DR lawmakers who vote for this are officially giving up their power to revoke his tariffs until October.
