Rand Paul: "This is an insane policy. It's inconsistent. It's not war. It's not the way we've ever done this. If we can blow up a boat in the ocean, what about when they get to Miami & put it in a truck? Can you shoot a grenade launcher at the truck? No! We arrest people b/c sometimes we're wrong."

Farage is currently "boycotting the BBC".

Perhaps the BBC and every other reputable broadcaster should instead be boycotting Mr Farage

The 2022 Biden strategy had a condemnation of “Russia’s brutal and unprovoked war on its neighbor Ukraine,” while the Trump strategy has no words of censure at all. None. While silent about Russian transgressions, it has plenty of nasty things to say about America’s European allies. wapo.st/4prmqK9

Really good investigation from Byline, looking at the far-right connections between an anti-migrant group claiming to be led by "ordinary women"

Not the only one to do so either, members of the Women's Safety Initiative also have extreme connections:

They also celebrate the gutter racism because they are gutter racists.

That's what movement conservatism has always been. Always.
This got largely overlooked, but note that Karoline Leavitt actually praised Trump's vile rant about Somalis as "epic." The cult worship has gotten so bad that his open racism now must be celebrated.

On the pod, we dig into this and his threat to denaturalize:
