Just this.
Words can’t express my rage at the establishment Democrats tonight.

Any “deal” that ends with Dems just getting a pinky promise in return is a mistake.

The American people are suffering because Republicans refuse to stop healthcare costs from skyrocketing. An agreement that doesn’t fix that reality falls massively short.

From completed #painting to work in process. Not completely back to the drawing board, but fixing things that have bothered me as it sits around the studio and gets looked at more and more; it’s still not quite done.

I always enjoy the subtle eccentricities of Richard Rezak’s #sculpture; here are 2 small works exhibited as a part of Luhring Augustine’s “Sliced Tropics & Cosmic Dancers”

the Prospect Park Lullwater, maybe a third of the way through today’s walk

my teammate led us along the edge of the Prospect Park Lake on paths I have never been on

how much I love after all these years to experience disorientation & new vistas in a park I know so well

“Running Arcs (For John Cage)” at @gagosian is somewhat the expected experience from a #RichardSerra, but it he experience with the #sculpture is still amazing.

Against Serra’s expressed wishes, the attached pics are in color.

I don't know -- a young, passionate, energetic, smart person with a lot of good ideas that are intellectually and philosophically consistent? Seems risky. Good luck, New York.

I love that Zohran did not praise Cuomo in his speech. You absolutely do not have to say nice things about bad people. We should normalize that in “polite” politics: Praising bad people is not actually “civility.”

This is a much more appropriate eulogy.
dick cheney, practitioner of the unitary executive theory who installed himself as vp knowing that impeachment-battered democrats would be too cowed to stop anything he and bush did, from torture to wars of choice that led to millions of deaths, has himself died at the age of 84

Number 1 with a bullet (so to speak): shooting that guy in the face and then having him apologize for being in the way.
Looking forward to prominent Democrats praise Dick Cheney's lifetime achievements.

We were asked to share pointers, so here’s a 🧵!
We soft-launched “Signs of Solidarity” w a canvass to build visible support + some legal protection for immigrant workers. Before the rain stopped us we visited 19 businesses. 9 of them agreed to post of these signs.

I believe that prioritizing my enjoyment of the race was what enabled me to meet all my other goals. That, & experience—it was my 6th marathon. I’ve learned so much from the others!

The marathon is far from my best distance & certainly isn’t my favorite, but I ♥️ the #NYCmarathon! #running
achieved my goals in yesterday’s marathon

- enjoyed it from beginning to end ✅
- ran faster than my previous marathon (which I have never done before!) ✅
- ran fastest of my 50s ✅
- never stopped to walk, also a 1st ✅

10/10 but would I do it again? 🤷🏻‍♀️

origin of this sign is that back in the day I’d have my then-boyfriend-now-husband write “Rae ♥️ NYC” on my race tee & sometimes someone would say “New York loves you too!” as I ran by

& I loved that so much & want to share that feeling with other runners
