Why can’t people just learn to be happy liking fictional bad guys?
Though Lobo wishes he were Superman and not Lex Luthor so even he has at least one redeeming quality.
The adults seem locked out of the room. Poor people will intentionally be starved by people wearing giant crosses. But there craven desire to do their own bidding allowed the adults back in the room for half a second to do this. Will it pass a vote though?
(R)s really hate the poor and disabled.
Let’s be clear here—Trump has the funds to ensure 42 million Americans don’t lose access to SNAP benefits on Saturday. But, they are CHOOSING to let Americans starve.

That’s why I introduced the SNAP BACK Act today—to ensure families are fed.

We will not let Americans starve.

Q: “Most hospitals + people who will lose insurance are in rural areas. If Trump & Republicans are so intent on sticking it to their own voters, why not let them?”

I really should post more of my artwork, so here’s some forced perspective dry brush Halloween fun.
Not a huge fan of posting images on socials despite wanting my page to be entirely that but we need opt in laws for worked used as training data, not much of this Man-Bat is terribly inventive though

“Ok,I’ll go put him in cuffs now.”

I REPEAT: the feds ordered his arrest even though he wasn’t breaking any laws.

How many times will MSM normalize this dictator before he starts with firing squads. You know all that good will toward the military? That’s going to be over if they start following the FoxNews fascist’s orders. Live ammo was used in NOLA post Katrina, they will follow them. Media “Fairness” kills.
If ever there was a time not to normalize Trump’s authoritarian fever dreams, this is it.

This should be impeachable. ‘War ravaged’ Portland? He’s insane - & insanely power hungry. The script is set - call an imaginary group a terror group and then send in the troops.

Debunked! Trump's Absurd Claim That He Ended Seven Wars
Desperate for a Nobel Peace Prize, the US president keeps taking credit for ending conflicts that either aren’t over – or didn’t exist to begin with! Here are the receipts.

Look at Louisiana for the embarrassment it is. This is what happens when racism is the #1 issue to voters in a state willing to nominate the klan to high office. Now ask why it has such an oversized voice in (R)national politics with numbers this bad or why they attack their economic engine NOLA?

Most disabled people I’ve met have faced some form of workplace discrimination, mentioned only once in this article by an EEOC staffer. I’ve seen how blatant it gets, even for those who hire them. In the past EEOC were professional, considerate, & quick to respond. The Klantatorship changed that.
Experts tell @abbyvesoulis.bsky.social that the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission is being weaponized to serve the interests of MAGA.

That means dismissing cases about trans and nonbinary people—while transforming the agency into a “grievance apparatus for white, straight, Christian people.”

Both of our “leaders” would reach across the aisle for a klan dictator’s party threatening to kill Americans in cities like Chicago and NOLA. They capitulate to the silicon valley oligarchs orchestrating techno feudalism and only bear their fangs toward progressives who “hurt big donor’s feelings”
"It is past time for both Hakeem Jeffries and Chuck Schumer to step down and step aside. This fascist moment, this age of Trump, demands outspoken, unrelenting and fearless opposition... we all deserve better."

How many “emergencies” created out of nothing & amount to vapor is our media accepting the framing of to eventually lead to the removal of our rights.
When money controls the mouthpieces they’ll excuse full blown dictatorship, bc the wealthy are always in on it, unlike policy to help the poor.
Another “emergency” is incoming. READ my latest on “emergency-gate.”

Today marks 20 years since Katrina.
When New Orleanians discuss Katrina we are not talking about a hurricane, we are talking about the use of a disaster to commit a colossal race massacre perpetuated by the US government & covered up by corporate media & the beginning of politicizing disaster aid.

James Crow esq jr. runs all these red states. None of these states are “red”. A million more dems in TX & Hispanic is the largest ethnicity, LA 33% black, MS is the same, AL & GA are close. They act like the old white citizens councils bc those never went away, they hid behind a mask just like ICE.
August 21, 2025 at 6:28 PM
Dear mask wearing ICE Klansmen,
If we want to have new Nuremberg trials for you, we don’t need video of you to ID you, we just need the accounting records. It’s that paystub and bonus check that does you in.

Dems need to come to terms with this simple fact: there has never once been a free or fair election for black people in the US. If they are regularly purged & need a robust VRA then US elections are rigged.
Brennan Center is a good source even if massive voter purges happened favoring (R)s in 2020.

Elie, knocking it out of the park again, unlike the majority of punditry. The rule of law is functionally dead, there are no constraints on this Klan, no predictability, & no expectation of anything to stop them.
SCOTUS wants a dictator now because he’ll be “their” dictator. They must be removed.
This will have to count as my Supreme Court term review.

I make that point that there's no point in reviewing what the Supreme Court has done because the rule of law is dead in this country anyway.

My latest in @thenation.com
The Rule of Law Is Dead in the US
The rule of law presupposes that there are rules that provide a consistent, repeatable, and knowable set of outcomes. That’s no longer the case.

Take a close look at those who says the Russia investigation or muller report was a hoax or phoney scandal. This is the face they make when they lie and contains all their tells.
The report reads like a Rachael Maddow show transcript & after you get to the names she discussed Bill Barr redacts.
In light of Tulsi’s recent ridiculous claims, a friend just posted this old explainer from 6 years ago about the scope of the Russia investigation that I’d completely forgotten about! 😂 youtu.be/o-CCxLmkn-w?...

Regarding using the hypocrisy of Republican arguments against them Elie nails it,“There is no “checkmate.” There is no moment where the scales fall from their eyes. There is no point at beating the Republicans at their own game, because when they are beaten they just change the rules.”
There's a terrible 5th Circuit opinion I'd like you all to see. Lots of people say we should "use conservative arguments against them," but you have to understand, FedSoc judges do not care about their own hypocrisy. They just write their way through it.

This was predictable even before the election. They tried to kill the ACA, bring back lifetime caps, & preexisting conditions >50 times.
Now (R)s have learned from Marco Rubio removing risk corridors that raised prices cutting a wonky term about insurer profit sharing for companies w/ more claims.
Thanks, GOP!

Thanks, Trump!

Here’s an idea for decent states I wish I lived in. I’d love to hear more about action in this area. Citizens need more tangible ways to fight for our captured rights from a captured government, otherwise they’re just “privileges”.
This.
There will now be 10,000 new ICE agents & 100,000 new detention beds--and few safeguards protecting people from constitutional violations by the feds.

Time for states to pass laws allowing people to sue fed agents. Read about it these "converse-1983" statutes here: papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers....
