The realization that, due to vagaries of the calendar, we only have 14 weeks of instructional time this semester is mitigated by the realization that I've only taught the syllabus I want to use in a 10 week semester previously, so that's all right.

Nail in the sidewall. We were at the dump on Saturday, so probably picked it up there, but the possibility that there's someone I should have been more polite to (in the fairy tale sense, or in the Mafia sense) remains...

Anyway. We WERE going to test the new Monday campus schedule, but it can wait

This is true and I was the only one on set excited about it (and playing the song on my phone to blank stares)
Just watched the new Knives Out and I think it's really important you know that the scene in the Seminary's Gym is filmed in the same place Rick Astley filmed the music video for Never Gonna Give You Up.

I saw the window tracery and immediately made my friends pause the film so I could tell them.

I'm a brilliant con-artist trying to rig an election in a bizarre contest with the only woman I've ever loved, while vindictive and powerful magic users interfere.

The Republic of Thieves, by Scott Lynch.

(But, before that, Count of Monte Cristo - that would have been an interesting job...)

@rittzler.bsky.social (creator of Pseudoregalia), has had their Discord and email hacked and is linking to a virus in disguise. If you see anything linking to a game called "Furfall", DO NOT engage with it. It's not made by Rittz and isn't a real game (it's a Remote Access Trojan) DO NOT CLICK IT.

We were in first place in this film award voting.

A film made purely with AI just netted over 150 votes in 12 hours.

Now it's personal.

Please. Help us kick this THING's ass fair and square. ART FOR ARTISTS.

I'm listening to the Jethro Tull Christmas album (which is lovely and melancholy), and _First Snow on Brooklyn_ has strong @themountaingoats.bsky.social vibes. Or, perhaps it just makes me think of _Lovecraft in Brooklyn_.
