This was, officially, policy when I worked at Walmart, back in 2000. I don't think anyone ever did it; I think the general consensus was that it would drive customers away. No one wants this except corporate...

Exactly, yes. Why should those of us in the compassionate wing of the party always be the ones holding our noses and voting for someone who is less than our ideal candidate.

So, hey - it's election day all over the country. Most places, it's a local election, just town council type positions. Those are small elections, but they're also a lot closer to you. So go and vote - it's important, even when the President isn't on the ballot!
