Ruin looks really good - moody chiaroscuro art (I think that's chiaroscuro, anyway, I am not an expert), bad beasties with swords and a list of influences that sound like a hell of a lot of fun!

The Thing is one of my favourite movies and this short video has some fantastic images of the miniatures they used. A lot of attention is justifiably on the amazing practical effects by Rob Bottin and his team but a lot of the other models were also stunning.
