Shameless self promotion: I made a #Shopify app for those on here who may use that platform. I wanted to build something that helped merchants with product upload files. Don't worry, I won't promote here often; just needed somewhere to start.

CSV Shield validates and auto-fixes product CSVs to prevent upload errors, speed bulk product updates, and cut manual data cleanup time.

Hearing about this Epstein genetics research stuff is nuts. The victims need to always come first but some of this other stuff deserves mention. These are Bond villain plot points.

This is a great summation of Amazon's surveillance state product launch under the guise of finding lost dogs. Definitely worth watching.
I did not expect 2026 to have the We Rate Dogs guy to come out and warn people about encroaching government surveillance and malfeasance (corp and govt). See his monologue about the killing of that lady by ICE.

Correct! Ordinarily, I don't attack appearance but some people are so horrible everything is fair game.
“Why are you talking about her appearance?”

Because she’s enabler for a horrific regime and deserves to be humiliated every day for the rest of her life.

I know the focus is on Pam Bondi today but as an aside, fuck Jim Jordan as chair of that hearing. Put a jacket on, you piece of shit.

Further to my point about how bad the spelling/grammar is of the billionaire emails in the Epstein Files.

I think we need to be more attentive to the vernacular of tech terminology. "Data centre" has taken on a connection to AI specifically when they can be for any non-AI processing as well.

I would say the majority of data centres are critical for basic web services, those for AI data are not.
Just so its clear: data centres are not "critical infrastructure".

They are Mystery Factories that can perform inscrutable computation for any digital output, from crypto scams to child abuse material to hospital databases. The broad label just becomes a wide door for harm to run through.

I must once again call out the horrible grammar of American's super rich. Space travel is detailed oriented so don't trust a guy selling you tickets to the moon who leaves out demonstrative pronouns when he writes.
"Life cannot just be about one sad thing after another," says the man responsible—directly or indirectly—for like 90% of the sad things that happened in the past year.

I've heard this is where @jcsalterego.bsky.social posts from.

We've got a new "10 years" prediction from Musk. Can't wait to look back on this in 12 years when there's no Moon city.
SpaceX shifts focus from something that it will never do on Mars to something it will never do on the Moon.

Laughable opinion on artistry from the guy who forced the Kennedy Centre to close over all the cancellations, and promoted a "movie" about his wife that made less money than a YouTuber film.

It's funny to think about how The Terminator franchise got so confusing they just gave up on its central premise entirely. Full on, "John Connor? Nah, your time war took so long there's a brand new messiah figure in the future now."

What an awful @wsj.com headline. Lean into the LoTR reference instead of the more newsworthy connection to Peter Thiel, Palantir, or Luckey's own weapons company, Anduril. Pathetic.

Ken Starr being referred to only as "Starr" in the Epstein Files is not doing me any favours.

Yes, and...

Comments like these are meaningless. Calling him a racist at this stage doesn't do anything.
Donald Trump is a racist.

Another reason to avoid Substack.
Substack data breach happened in October.

Substack discovers data breach five months later in February.

Five months to detect a data breach is... not good. Unclear if Substack found the breach on its own accord, or if it was notified by way of the hacker's extortion demand.

Even in Canada I have similar feelings. The WaPo stuff specifically, total gut punch.
as a journalist, the gutting of wapo makes me anxious; as an american, it makes me terrified
