I’m a bass playing, boat building grandad. I follow the ‘train-wreck’ that is AusPol with a macabre interest. Born, lived worked Bunurong all my life. Wish we had more than the last 200yrs of history folded into our culture.
My daughters friend reckons I’m like “a high functioning meth addict…
Just out on missions” 🤣🤣🤣
I’m thinking of having that etched onto my headstone 🪦 🤔 🤣

Scott Ludlam wrote a few things a few years back on “state capture” and it really sums up Australia’s craven giveaway of fossil fuel resources to foreign corps
Australia Institute research shows the gas industry pays ZERO royalties on more than half the gas exported from Australia.

"Other people in the rest of the world are making a fortune out of Australia's gas exports.... Australia is getting taken for a ride."

A partial solution to our energy ‘curtailment’ issue would be to extend the battery rebate to homes without solar. This in conjunction with proposed 3hr free energy would soak up excess & allow households unable to install solar to join the renewable market instead of subsidising it. #AusPol

The ‘cost of living crisis’ is privatised essential services and under-regulated corporatisation of the rest of the economy and government. I hope people vote to redress this next election #AusPol

I wonder if people could install a battery & charge it during those three hours? That’d be a win win for everyone if they could #AusPol www.abc.net.au/news/2025-11...
Australian households to get free electricity three hours a day
Saying there is enough solar power for everyone in the daytime, the federal government will direct retailers to provide three hours of free power every day to consumers.

PM Albanese’s culture of secrecy, in three charts
If he doesn’t change course, the Prime Minister may end up leading exactly the kind of 'shadow government' that he derided his predecessor for.

What's the good of a Duopoly when one side rarely agrees with the other?

Gets worse when one wins a whopping margin & then farts around seeking bipartisan agreement with a mob that never agrees with them about anything.

If the SMH can't verify them and they're false (as Fazal said), they have defamed him terribly.

Why do Australian nationalists love foreign companies so much?
Gas giants are taking the piss, & the AU RW are encouraging them!
Rather than trying to get them to work for the nation's interests RW nationalists would rather foreign corps pay no tax & are happy for them to price gouge Australians!
