I’m a bass playing, boat building grandad. I follow the ‘train-wreck’ that is AusPol with a macabre interest. Born, lived worked Bunurong all my life. Wish we had more than the last 200yrs of history folded into our culture.
A lot of timber boats are art, most I’d say. Huon Pine is such a beautiful timber, I have a little dish made of it. When camping I eat olives out of it when I have a beer. This old bloke gave it to me decades ago for fixing his caravan. He was Taswegian and turned HP as a hobby.
