Odd country. Most domestic flights have no screening at the airport, some flights do have it.

And when I say "basement", I mean they just walled off a bunch of parking spaces with concrete. You didn't even need the Greater American Cable Seeking Backhoe to take it out! *Usually* if there was vehicular impact, the concrete won... usually.

Any of my followers have experience in using Sched.com for Call for Papers and / or Registration as an organizer?

I know many conferences I attend use it for the Program, but I'm wondering if anyone has experience with the other functions. Thanks in advance!

Everything in the shop appeared to have been abandoned. A devoted customer took it all home and started selling the items herself.

In the century leading up to 1975, nearly 6000 freighters went down in the Great Lakes.

The Edmund Fitzgerald was the last.

The last. In 50 years, not a single commercial freighter has been lost in the Great Lakes.

Why?

It's NOAA. Of course it's NOAA.

And that’s when I realized that a lot of folks have no steps.

Chris's Steakhouse was a New Orleans landmark

Chris Matulich periodically got bored, sold it, waited for the new owner to fail, and bought it back cheap

The sale conditions: Can't move it, can't change the name

He did this six times

Then he sold it to Ruth Fertel
