Personally I'd vote for video stores, matchbooks at every restaurant hostess station, and Arm & Hammer's mint GEL toothpaste
why does "we must go back" always mean racism and not quaaludes

My #LetterboxdFriday took a hit because I'm getting back into Silksong... Man Who Wasn't There was way better than I thought it would be for some reason! Good watch after The Third Man

Police just detained two protesters.

One dressed as the Statue of the Liberty.

The music video for the Cranberries' "Linger" might just be a top ten picture of all time for me.

Happy #LetterboxdFriday 📽️! Split my #LastFourWatched between horror, Blank Check Coens re-watch, and apparently the Third Man.

Bring Her Back... technically impressive movie that I didn't enjoy as much as Talk to Me. Next up: The Man Who Wasn't There and Weapons.

the new Geese album maps pretty perfectly to the general vibe and feeling (audio+visual) of One Battle After Another

love to toggle between analyzing the Bills offense and analyzing the aesthetics of authoritarianism
Came for the fantasy football analysis, staying for the spot-on (and humorously cathartic) political insight.

I just can't wrap my head around listening to a pop album about Travis Kelce. This just stinks so unbelievably much.

So many guys are going to be dressed for halloween as Leo's character in One Battle After Another. Like, we might run out of red plaid bathrobes.

Is Geese (the plural band) good? On first listen, they're kinda like Ween but not as good?

My #LetterboxdFriday #LastFourWatched was motivated by Ari Aster being on Blank Check.

Was pretty moved by Beau is Afraid. Loved and was scared by Eddington.

Still not a huge fan of Miller's Crossing, but definitely worth the price of admission for Jon Polito's performance

I'll save you a click. Watch Eddington.
I wrote about the Sydney Sweeney jeans discourse and broken informations systems that make talking to each other impossible (in fact it's not even the goal). Context collapse is just how people (and brands!) communicate now. www.theatlantic.com/technology/a...
