Democrats only care about losing access to Congress because they want inside information on stock trades. They really don’t care about being on the right side of history and probably agree with all of the ICE abuses.

The number one bit of security advice I would give activists/immigrants rn is to back up all your shit and make sure someone has access to your important records. (And dress warm)
We've heard a number of reports now of DHS agents at Whipple confiscating arrestees' phones and refusing to return them. Talked with a guy several nights ago who said they wouldn't give his back, and there were more reports of it last night. Just something to keep in mind/be aware of.
