I can understand the cynical reaction many are taking to this announcement given all of the false starts, but I suspect this one will get out of spacedock. A fresh start with new characters with little or no association with other Trek shows/films is just what is needed.

Even more bizarre is that both - Carlson, in particular - have more money than they will ever need.
It's really weird to see people like Tucker Carlson and Megyn Kelly, who once had sweet corporate gigs, have to turn up the creep knob to compete with a generation of personalities that started with an iPhone and a mental disorder.
