Good grief

Stupid free for all system
What the hell is wrong with people? One reason I don’t like pubs is because of the stupid free-for-all system, so it is a GOOD THING if people now queue at the bar to be served.
‘It’s ridiculous’: publicans bemused by rise of single-file queues to get served
Bar owners say they struggle to dissuade people from forming a line as behavioural experts point to post-pandemic ‘new norms’

Before the day arrives, some of these cosplaying arseholes would do well to read up about what happened to the collaborators post 1945
This is just insane. It’s only a matter of time before DHS kills another innocent person here.

All the right wing grifters that have spent years begging Musk to “save the UK” (oh and pay their legal fees) might now find a bit of shame

If they ever had in the first place

They didn’t

I don’t understand anyone that’s still on that hellsite I really don’t

Q: Can you be specific about how many ICE and CBP agents are currently operating in the state?

HOMAN: 3,000. There's been some rotations. They've been in theater a long time. Day after day, can't eat in restaurants, people spin on you, blowing whistles at you. But my main focus now is draw down

I know some don’t necessarily have the choice (although no one is forced to buy a home) but I have always found it jaw dropping that anyone even ever entertains the idea of buying a leasehold property.

Even the end of that sentence itself is a paradox
January 27, 2026 at 8:21 AM
But but but Labour is doing fuck all will scream the carefully selected voxpops of Denton and Gorton
Ground rent cap is good news (though peppercorn would be better straight away). Also welcome is promised abolition of new leasehold properties. Better still would be the outright abolition of leasehold altogether, a feudal anachronism virtually unique to England and Wales.
