I'm going to just keep saying it.
The only security guarantee now that is worth a damn is to have European military bases permanently built and stationed on Ukrainian soil, preferably along attack avenues between Kyiv and Russian military forces.
Nothing else will do, history has proven this.

A very good and detailed piece on the supply chain of the Russian genocide👇

Everyone not an idiot knows that selling to China is equivalent to selling to Russia.

The supplier should be punished, and Europe must tighten the sanctions.

Disappointing to have to say this after 4 years.
A tiny Austrian sensor designed for precise motion control made an impressive journey across the globe. Some time after being sold to a company in Hong Kong, it turned up in Ukraine inside a long-range military drone launched from Russia.
Investigation: How Russian drones exploit European technologies to strike Ukraine, and beyond
Editor's note: This story is part of a cross-border investigative project that involved eight newsrooms, initiated by De Tijd (Belgium) and coordinated by the Kyiv Independent and OCCRP. A tiny Austr...

Key take-outs👇

- nothing going to happen in the Geneva talks

- Russia on war footing, with a transition to a peace economy being very risky for the Putin regime, means Europe must prepare for war. Or enable Ukraine to win.

Thanks Keir👌
It looks as though I was interviewed this morning on why I wasn't holding my breath for any major news from the Russia-Ukraine "peace talks" in Geneva during the day.

The US “Ambassador” now demands that the Belgian government condemns one of its political leaders. This kind of political interference is unacceptable. Bill White’s accreditation should be revoked. The 🇪🇺 should issue a statement supporting 🇧🇪.
The US ambassador to Belgium has refused to apologise for accusing Belgium of antisemitism over a ritual circumcision law.

This is the extent to which Trump's regime is involving itself in even the most minute areas of European domestic law. They now have something to say about Belgian penises.
