The upcoming SOUND VOLTEX game has to be the first video game ever to have a nabla in the title, right?

btw this is why I cant take your "get rudy out of here" takes--no one is in his stratosphere as a rim protector yet.
Weird I was told Wembanyama was a better defender than Rudy Gobert and that Rudy Gobert was overrated because Luka drained a 3 in his face one time in the playoffs?????

Pete Butt.
Speaking at a Texas Tribune Festival on Friday, former U.S. Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg criticized the Democratic Party for failing to reach everyday Americans, arguing that it “got sucked in” to a conversation about identity. #TribFest25
Pete Buttigieg critiques Democrats for focus on identity
The former U.S. transportation secretary said the Democratic Party should focus more on issues gripping the country, such as health care and housing affordability.

Look I don't want to step too far out of my lane here, but I can't help but feel like making accusations of sexism against those noting a pattern that amounted to a cover-up of serialized abuse of young women by the most powerful men in the country is not really a helpful or productive thing to do.
"I'm a rando who prefers to believe that everything is a conspiracy and am happy to tell women that I know better than she does how their literal job works" That a news org makes an editorial decision you wouldn't (or I wouldn't) doesn't mean someone is killing a story on behalf of a powerful person
"I write for the New York Times, and I can assure you that we've never buried stories on behalf of powerful people, many of those powerful people being part of NYT management. We only publish what's fit to print, like Zohran's application to Columbia that was leaked by a white nationalist"

me teaching on five hours of sleep: "so we see that taking the area under the curve in some sense undoes taking a derivative. What do we call that? Well if the antipope undoes the pope... wait bad example"

The coordinated nature of this—none are facing voters in 2026—means that either Schumer approved it or failed in his job as Senate Majority Leader to stop it.

Dems voting "no" get zero credit until they demand a change in leadership. Schumer out as Leader, Durbin out as Whip.
so currently defectors are:

Kaine (2030)
Shaheen (Retiring)
Hasan (2028)
Fetterman (2028)
Durbin (Retiring)
CCM (2028)
Rosen (2030)
King (2030)

I would say she is lying but new hampshire is a weird enough place to make me think maybe there are still some bipartisanship stans who haven't checked the news since 1997 there. None of the others have an excuse tho.
Shaheen: "When I talk to my constituents in New Hampshire, you know what they say to me? They say, 'Why can't you all just work together to address the problems that are facing this country?'"

Schumer has truly made out the victor today, having successfully made the play that makes him appear only grossly incompetent and unable to whip his own caucus, while still achieving the effects of the naked evil that is his preference. Whoever said you cant have your cake and eat it too....

Scorigami is quite unlikely (less than 1%) in this game.

one thing I love about modern UI design is the lack of error messages. Ideally, the user should have no idea why their app is malfunctioning or what they can do to fix it. this is how a phone asserts dominance.

bluesky leadership be like "how can we make sure that this platform avoids being fun at all costs"
If you aren't seeing skeets from some of your fave people, they might have been labeled "Rude" by bsky mods. Idk what they are thinking, I don't need a mommy to tell me who to be buddies with. Anyway, go into Settings > moderation > bluesky moderation (advanced) and turn Rude off.

Zohran had such a consistent message that it bordered on repetitious. Like, quite possibly the most message discipline of any notable candidate for major office in recent memory. What a funny accusation.
Rogan, talking about Zohran Mamdani: "What else has he done that makes him a swindler?"

Musk: " Um, well, I, I guess if you say, uh, what I mean, if you, if say, if you say..."

Without LGBT New Yorkers, Cuomo might’ve won. Mamdani’s genuine and relentless support of trans rights was not only morally correct, but an electoral necessity.
Centrist dems want buses running over LGBT people. @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social wants free and clear bus lanes instead. The difference won him the election.
