Asking for a show of mercy sure is radical.
The bishop asked for compassion and mercy. Apparently, the Christian nationalist speaker of the House would rather lie and bow to Trump than support compassion & mercy.

I have seen posts on various social sites claiming this is not a nation salute. Deniers gonna deny.

I will apologize for her - if she will let me.

I am sorry she did not call you out for being such an amoral mean small person focused on retribution first, your nasty policies second and your amazing desire to kill our country.
If Trump supporters had any sense of decency, they'd be appalled by the president of the United States calling a prominent leader of a major church a "so-called bishop" and complaining that the inaugural prayer service was "very boring."
If Trump supporters had any sense of decency.
Early this morning, President Trump posted a Truth post failing against Bishop Mariann Budde who preached to him yesterday, calling her a “so-called bishop” and insisting she and the Washington National Cathedral apologize.

We have 2 years to change this, and we need to change it before it becomes generational. It can be stopped but it must be stopped NOW!
It wasn't until I saw author Steven Beschloss mention it that I fully appreciated the fact that Musk knowingly (twice) gave a Nazi salute _behind the Presidential Seal_

That's a stain on the history of this nation—and on the first day of the second Trump presidency, no less—that can never be erased

Hi, Senator. It’s actually time for some people to grow some cojones.
It is time to look to the future.

The challenges that face America are many and great.

The Senate must respond with resolve, bipartisanship, and fidelity to the working and middle class of this country.

To most of us, in light of the election result and the impending swearing-in of Donald Trump to his second term in office, it would appear Trump got away with everything.
