Listen to this. First-hand report from a person captured, driven around, and then released by Border Patrol Agents without charges. The level of unorganization is pathetic but very dangerous. #Chicagoundersiege #livereportfromcaptiveofBorderPatrol #getthemoutofChicago

Lots of Trump Trojan horses to cover up this plan to steal resources like water and land from people. This guy looks quaint but has the analysis correct. #fightthesteal #guardcleanwater #localcontrol #manitowac

Chuck Schumer is not the bad guy. Blame everyone who ignored the warnings and refused to vote for Kamala Harris and Hillary Clinton.

Shitstains like Chuck Schumer are why I havent supported the @democrats.org as a party in years. I will support individuals with courage and morals, but the party is led by cowards who betray the people over and over. The party does not deserve your support. I'm livid.
Good morning and happy Monday!

@duckworth.senate.gov Stand strong. No deal without written guarantees.
This was a Senate leadership deal with a structured roll call. The real question is if Sen. Duckworth still supports Senate leadership after they made that deal. If she does, then her statement means little. I've asked her staff
Trump and Republicans refuse to fight for American families, but I refuse to give up on them.

I simply cannot vote to do nothing to help protect them from Trump’s vindictive efforts in exchange for a vague promise from the least trustworthy Republican party in our nation’s history.

@durbin.senate.gov Do not cave now. Holdout and be strong. Don't normalize cruelty. Don't negotiate unless you get healthcare and SNAP in a bill.

You get what you pay for.
If you worship the cops, banish criticism of the cops from politics, give all the money to the cops, and operate on the assumption that the cops are what keeps society together, there’s nowhere to stand to oppose the fascist police state

Starbucks baristas have done everything right — organized, bargained, and stood together.

But the CEO still refuses to offer a fair contract or end union busting.

If baristas go on ULP strike, our response is simply DON’T BUY STARBUCKS.

At 75, I see hope in 30 somethings. This is good.
every time someone reminds me that lina khan is only 36 i am a) mad that i have not yet been the chair of the federal trade commission and b) so happy that she's going to be around to antagonize the worst people on earth for several decades
I'm just relieved that our new 34-year-old mayor will have access to the greater wisdom and experience of a 36-year-old

This is our big problem
They do dance around corporate/billionaire ownership a very little bit, but never actually get to the heart of it. That we don't talk much at all about media consolidation (especially the last 30ish years) is part of the reason why we're at where we're at.
Holy shit. Friends, here is a panel on the question "why don't Americans trust the media?'

I scrolled ... scrolled ... increasingly amazed ... scrolled ...

Nope. No one so much as *mentions* the 6-decade, billionaire-funded campaign by the right to destroy trust in media! Not even in passing!
