Helpfully @bsky.app is now using age verification. Equally helpfully, I can't get it to work. I'm a 50 year old man. Normally pretty good at tech. I'll have to find a kid to help me work round it. Or just sign up to a vpn.

Has been any progress on pavement parking in the rest of the UK? One issue we see in Devon, new builds get built with ample off street parking in the form of garages, so roads are a bit narrower. But then the garages are too narrow for modern cars, or they are used for storage or converted.
Bad parking makes streets dangerous for people walking, wheeling and cycling.
So it’s good to see the Mayor approve Borough requests for parking fines to increase to match those on TfL streets.
No one “has” to pay these fines - unless they park badly.
