Weird how the MAGA cult talk more about the Charlie Kirk murder than the “attempted assassination” of Trump.

It's probably not something anybody would have standing to challenge, but a straightforward case could be made this violates the 27th Amendment. By limiting it to only senators, the value of this cause of action is thus a perk, a kind of 'compensation,' granted simply because they're senators.
This allows Trump (via DOJ) to use taxpayer money to bribe eight GOP Senators. It's that simple, there's no other way to describe it.

And where's the compensation for people injured by the Trump admin's unlawful conduct through DHS & DOGE?

Take a bow, @schumer.senate.gov, you did this.

Alex Karp Goes to War
Palantir’s CEO is good with ICE and says he defends human rights. But will Israel and Trump ever go too far for him?

I don't have a high opinion of SCOTUS.

But this outcome was clear-as Mark & I explained on MSNBC: www.msnbc.com/ana-cabrera-...

People SHOULD worry about SCOTUS & educate people about what SCOTUS is doing & might do.

They shouldn't whip ppl into frenzies on cases that aren't going anywhere.

Releasing anyone and everyone that helped him try to steal the election and stay in office illegally. First the traitors from J6 and now these criminals.

I’m really fucking tired of our Democrat leaders being afraid. And they’re not afraid of the direction the country is going but just optics. Fucking pathetic. @schumer.senate.gov needs to resign if he isn’t going to lead.
MSNBC reported Schumer's office felt that the longer that shutdown went on, the more likely it was that people would start to blame the Dems.

My kingdom for Democrats that don't govern out of fear. I've said it before and I'll say it again: The American people are far braver than their reps.

Like I said before, he needs his criminal crew to help him steal future elections. This is his answer to the 2025 elections.
Trump’s pardon attorney Ed Martin claims Trump is pardoning his Georgia co-defendants and other “alternate electors.”

Note: Trump’s Georgia co-defendants are charged under state law. The president can’t pardon people for state crimes.

@fetterman.senate.gov disgusts me. He’s a fraud.
The Senate on Sunday took the first step toward ending the longest government shutdown in U.S. history, after a group of Democrats broke from their party and voted with Republicans to advance legislation to reopen the government. Here's what to know: nyti.ms/4oxaeHb

Seriously, this was a smart deal for the coward caucus in @democrats.senate.gov to make because they're about to make more lifelong enemies than they've ever had before.
Or maybe Senate Democrats are aware of how pissed off voters will be?

This alleged deal guarantees a BILLION dollars in spending for security and police at the Capitol, and then a pinky promise to hold a vote on ACA subsidies that will surely lose.

Not sure a billion will even be enough but OK.
