Alperen Sengun checks back in with the #Rockets up 27 and 5:30 left, so I guess Ime Udoka really does care about the NBA Cup (margin matters, for tiebreaker purposes)

KD and Alpi rushing over to be hype men for Reed Sheppard is one of my favorite moments of the season #Rockets
November 15, 2025 at 3:06 AM
Reed Sheppard just scored 7 points in a minute, 5 for the #Rockets and two more for the Blazers

The NBA may have to put Alperen Sengun in the 3-point shootout, at this rate
November 15, 2025 at 2:31 AM
Alperen Sengun now 3-of-4 on 3s. If that shot is for real, it's a game-changer
November 15, 2025 at 2:25 AM
The #Rockets scored 69 points in the first half

Steven is back on the bench, so at least there's that. No sign of Tari
Steven Adams has only played 5 minutes this half (and he was really good in those minutes), so I worry that there might be an injury concern there, too. I don't see him currently on the bench

Tari Eason is hurt, back to locker room. Steven Adams helped him get back there, didn't look great

Amusing to watch how many players will immediately put it in reverse when they drive inside and see Steven Adams near the rim

The Ime/Reed Sheppard deal is fun to watch because it's so clear Ime sees it and believes in him but it's so clear there is a "hey man get this right" behind it. On the right track.

Second game in a row where Kevin Durant has scored at least 16 in the first quarter

One, I like the Rockets countering Jrue Holiday full court pressure vs. Amen Thompson by having Alperen Sengun bring it up.

Two, Sengun is just letting it fly from 3 this year. He made 21 last year. Already at 14 and counting.

Seems good #Rockets

If you wondered “how will Seattle fan make the 2025 AL MVP race about Astros fans,” they somehow found a way. Remarkably on brand

This feels increasingly inevitable, and I’m good with it. Fun and a reasonable bet at a position of need

Two things:

1.) This was 100% the correct decision, the only reason it was close was narrative reasons and blank check "because he's a catcher" logic.

2.) Raleigh was -200 to win. For the billionth time, sports futures lines are usually not an indicator of privileged intel.
ALL RISE (AGAIN).

Aaron Judge has been named the AL MVP, the third of his career.

This is a great read.

As a heavy sports microblogger, there was a strong correlation between the rise of algorithms/rage bait and my user experience going downhill.

In theory, the solution should be as simple as "just follow who/what you like," but the algorithm approach complicates that.
Today is one of those days when I should have taken my own advice. Flooded with rage tweets on the other platform. Garbage way to communicate that only brings out the worst in people. All dunks, no conversation. Complete waste of time trying to engage there www.gelliottmorris.com/p/you-should...
You should quit social media for good
Platforms optimized for engagement warp our politics, erode attention, and harm our wellbeing. Here’s how I minimize time on the (anti‑)social web.

Reed Sheppard in his last four games:

16.3 points, 2.3 steals in 24.3 minutes

65.8% FG, 60.0% on 3s

Seems good
‘It’s all confidence’: Rockets rout Wizards as Reed Sheppard stays hot
The Rockets (7-3) routed Washington as second-year guard Reed Sheppard (21 points) finished with the second-highest scoring game of his NBA career.

What if Reed Sheppard is the greatest there ever was

Reed Sheppard looks so good
