Hidden away beside a stream in County Kilkenny, you can find one of the finest portal tombs in Ireland. And the scale of this thing has to be seen to be believed!

The Kilmogue Dolmen likely dates to around 3800–3500BC.

It is known locally as Leac an Scáil, perhaps meaning 'The Stone of Shadow'.
